Bob McMahon has practiced law in California since 1984; continuously maintaining a small office in Laguna Beach, California. He’s personally represented clients in courts throughout the state of California and tried numerous civil litigation and criminal defense matters to verdict. He’s a skilled advocate and experienced negotiator with particular success resolving contested plaintiff personal injury claims, civil disputes and estate-related contests in mediation proceedings. Bob served as President of the South Orange County Bar Association, and during that term served as a Board Member of the Orange County Bar Association. Bob holds an AV rating through Martindale-Hubbell. For several years, Bob served as founder of, and legal adviser to a successful startup company ultimately acquired by investment bankers.
Currently, Bob McMahon’s varied legal practice includes serious personal injury matters; municipal zoning hearings/City Council Appeals regarding land use, real property development and design review (Real Estate/Zoning); probate litigation including conservatorship proceedings, trust administration, and probate.
Bob enjoys an active coastal lifestyle including swimming, SCUBA diving, deep-sea fishing, boating, golf, travel, mountain biking and listening to all kinds of music. He’s resided in Southern California since birth, primarily in Laguna Beach.
